Take a Look: 2 Orton-Gillingham Resources to make teaching phonics Easy Breezy!

Orton-Gillingham is a hot buzzword in education right now. The Science of Reading, Orton-Gillingham Approach and curriculums that use those methods in their products are all over the internet and social media. I have been lucky to have some training in the OG method, and I can confirm that it is pure magic in the classroom!

The Orton-Gillingham approach to multi-sensory learning is a research-based way to explicitly teach elementary students and or students with special needs, specifically dyslexia, phonological awareness skills. These task boxes will allow students to practice their decoding skills within centers, 1:1 time with a teacher, or independently.

I have had the opportunity to be trained in a specific curriculum that utilizes the OG method, however, it can be a bit dry. Sometimes I need materials for independent learning or even when I have a sub, so the students have meaningful phonics instruction daily. NO MATTER WHAT!

I created the OG File Folders and the OG Task Boxes to give students the opportunity to work on previously taught skills at the drop of a hat! You can find the File Folders Here and the Task Boxes Here! Don’t forget to check out my Free Resource Library by signing up for my email list! Sign up here!
